FAQ -> Evergreen webinars -> How are Evergreen events different from uploading the webinar on YouTube?
How are Evergreen events different from uploading the webinar on YouTube?
Running Evergreens on our platform gives you way more options than YouTube - you have customizable registration forms, you can use call-to-actions, etc. You can also use password tokens to monetize your webinar as well thanks to the paid webinars feature. Click here to learn all about this feature.
You can also upload your own external recordings to LiveWebinar, in addition to your previous meeting recordings already stored on LiveWebinar. To do this, you will first need to download the file into Storage on the dashboard. This allows you to add recordings from YouTube and Vimeo.
With Evergreens, you can also join during a session, pause it and make it live - i.e. answer participant's questions or run a presentation that was not included in the recording and then play it again to finish.
