How to Activate the Waiting Room
- Log in to your account’s dashboard and select “Rooms/Events”.
Then choose the event that you want to equip with a waiting room.
- Click on the cog icon and then “Edit” in the room’s settings.
- Go to the “Security” options tab.
- Toggle on “Waiting Room”.
Once it’s time for your event, all attendees will wait in the waiting room before you choose to let them in.
Before the event begins, participants will be in a special waiting room, where the most important information about the webinar will be displayed.
Remember to click on “Save” underneath this section.
- Here’s an example of what your waiting room will look like for attendees.
Here’s a short explanation of what you can find in the waiting room:Test Your Connection – use this option to test your internet connection before your meeting.
- Test Your Connection – use this option to test your internet connection before your meeting.
- Login as host – log in as the host of the event.
- Request Entry – click here to send a request to the host or presenter that you’d like to enter the room.
- Event Presenter – the presenter(s) of the event will be shown here, along with a short bio or contact information (if the information was added by the host).
- Event Agenda – the schedule of the event will be shown here if it has been provided by the host.
